Dr. Les Alsterlund does a thorough assessment that goes beyond a routine eye exam. More than looking at a pair of eyeballs, the evaluation is looking at the whole person to see how they use their eyes vision in their everyday life. Patients gain a better understanding of how vision works and what can be done to help them move beyond their visual barriers. Dr. Les designs a step by step treatment plan to meet patients’ individual vision needs and goals.
Dr. Les enjoys getting to know each of his patients well (and often their families) because he is the one who provides the weekly one-on-one vision therapy sessions. Vision therapy is a commitment in time, money, and motivation to build lasting vision improvements. Dr. Les coaches his patients, coming alongside to help them do the hard work. He gives gentle encouragement when the going gets tough. And just for fun, he has been known to play an energetic game of noodle ball!
The A-Team… Dr. Les could not do this work completely by himself. He partners with his wife, Tracy, to manage the clinic. We understand the challenge of balancing work and family life. So, our family works together to keep the office clean and orderly. Together we also manage the website and social media.
No family members have been harmed in the maintaining of this office. Fair child labor laws applied.
